Ganga Dussehra (गंगा दशहरा) –
Ganga Dussehra is commonly known as gangavataran (गंगावतरण ) which is celebrated by Hindus because of the appearance of the Ganga on earth. Ganga is the holy river that is known to descend from heaven to earth on this particular day. This is the day that occurs during the Dashami of Shukla paksha (शुक्ल पक्ष) in the Jyeshta (ज्येष्ठ) month. Nirjala Ekadashi (निर्जला एकादशी) –
Nirjala Ekadashi is one of the holiest days that occur on the 11th lunar day of the Shukla Ekadashi that happens in the Jyestha month. This is the fast that is performed by the devotees by keeping waterless fast for the entire day.
इस एकादशी को पांडव एकादशी, भीम एकादशी, भीमसेनी एकादशी जैसे कई अन्य नामों से भी जाना जाता है। यह शुभ दिन 10 जून 2022, शुक्रवार को बड़े उत्साह के साथ मनाया जाने वाला है।
Gayatri Jayanti (गायत्री जयंती) –
Gayatri Jayanti is observed on the Shukla paksha Ekadashi (शुक्ल पक्ष एकादशी) of Jyestha month. On this auspicious day, the goddess Gayatri who is admired as the goddess of Veda was born. She is the god of all Veda therefore she is even known as Veda Mata. She is acknowledged as the phenomenal attribute of lord Brahma and mother of all gods as well as the personification of Saraswati, Parvati, and Lakshmi. On this day, the devotees pray to Gayatri Mata and chant the Gayatri mantra to get blessed with happy leaving – इस दिन, भक्त गायत्री माता से प्रार्थना करते हैं और गायत्री मंत्र का जाप करते हुए सुखी प्रस्थान का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करते हैं।.
Vat Savitri Purnima Vrat (वट सावित्री पूर्णिमा व्रत) –
Vat Savitri Purnima vrat is the fasting that is observed for the entire day by the married women for well being and long life of their husbands. The legend related to this auspicious day is a related story of Savitri who went on strict fasting to bring back the life of her husband named Satyavan from Yama raj who is personified as the lord of death.
Jyeshtha Purnima (ज्येष्ठ पूर्णिमा) –
Jyestha Purnima is another holy date that occurs in June month for Hindus. This is the day when a full moon appears in the sky with great significance for the Hindu religion. The beginning of the Jyeshtha month is marked with the entrance of the sun in the Taurus sign in the second month of the year. This auspicious is going to be visible on 14th June 2022, Tuesday which is a Shukla paksha Purnima.
Ashadha Amavasya (आशा अमावस्या) –
Ashadha Amavasya is the day when no moon appears in the month of Ashada. It begins with the Shukla Paksha of the lunar month. This is the darkest day in the month which opts to be most powerful and impactful over time. Many people opt for Shraddha rituals to appease ancestors. On this day people believe that the departed ancestor comes down on the earth to visit their successor. This day fast is kept to gain positive growth and prosperity. In the Hindu Calendar 2022, this festival is going to fall on Shravana month period of Krishna Amavasya of shravana on 29th June 2022.
